Finally

1 hour 40 minutes. And now the line is super short- the wait is probably only 30 min. Yikes!!!

Blimey... I am at about the 90 minute mark and still have at least 30 more to go!! They have obviously consolidated polling places because in past years I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Its firkin irritating.

2 1/2 hours for us, starting from 0600. So Percocetivity is still in line?

You guys, though...that's an awful long time to wait in line for nothing more than a boosted self-esteem and an "I Voted Today" sticker. Kidding kidding! :D

I voted constitution party!

Oh, I guess I should clarify, for everything other than President and Governor. :D

And I don't think they consolidated, I think we usually have extremely low voter turn out.

oh- ouch! I see, so it's funny eh? How belittling!

I belittle in a spirit of brotherly love.

But seriously, its going to be party time tonight for a large swathe of the public. Get ready for President Oprahma!

I believe it could go either way. This morning on Fox (local) they said Missouri is 49% to 49%... and since the polls are almost universally skewed to the left (historically) there is a fair chance McSame will take Missouri.

I voted at Raytown City Hall.

Sorry guys. I am proud of you though.

In your line of work, don't you sorta always have time to get a coffee?!

I like this John Adams quote: "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."

The Unabashed Blogger said...

"your vote is never lost"...right...it just may not count towards actually making a difference.

SQLFunkateer said...

"your vote is never lost"...unless they decide to put it in the manilla folder instead of the ballot machine! :D

Lol...yeah, unless they do that. Oh wait, they did...hhhhhhh.
