Bathroom update

Just over a year ago I took some construction shots, so this is an anniversary update.

And here's an extra shot of some of the laborious tile work next to the faucet.

Quite impressive!! I like tile when someone else does the work.

I too am impressed. Not that I didn't completely expect such high craftsmanship but was unsure of your full handiness.

Thanks guys! The tile on the deck (where the faucet is) was a massive pain because they are three different thicknesses. I had most of them on there before I realized that it wasn't level and therefore wouldn't shed water appropriately. So I had to pull them all up, scrape the dried glue off and concoct a way to shim the thinner tiles. I was able to use 1/8" and 1/4" sheets of MDF with the coarse side up and "painting" this with levelling compound so the tiles would adhere to it.

I have a theory in regards to 'handiness': If I am handy, I will not have enough money to pay someone else to fix something which means I have to do it myself. If I was not handy, I would have money to hire someone to do it for me.

Word Verification: Spent

Irony?
